The dreamy depiction of a girl in a dress inspired by a kimono, of intense colors and various shapes, who seems to be floating somewhere at the bottom of the ocean, immersed in a strange imaginary sea world, creates a feeling of peace but also of a strong transformation. Her pose and the flowers in her hands indicate the festivity, splendor and importance of this moment in which it is as if the creatures of the ocean have come to witness her transformation and dance in a deep, cold, transparent Prussian blue color. This particular color adds depth and mystery to the overall composition. The dragon above her, which certainly has no place here in the aquatic environment, seems to represent an extension of herself because here she gains courage and strength. The painting is completed with the discreet symbolism of peacock feathers and jellyfish, as in other paintings from the portfolio, that is unavoidable motifs of immortality, protection and letting go. It is made in a combination of acrylic and oil paint.
