ABOUT NINA SEKULOVIC ART

Nina Sekulović's journey as an artist is far from typical, although as a child, and especially during her school years, she showed a vivid imagination and talent for painting, life took her in another direction and she briefly lost touch with her passion. But she never forgot how the hours flew by like minutes when she would draw and paint as a child and how the whole process of creating something new was hypnotizing, captivating and exciting. Those moments calmed her restlessness and were the source of her uniqueness, a world that is only hers but which would often intrigue those curious around her, thus building a bond between her and those like her. That world seemed to separate and unite at the same time with others outside of it.
In her early twenties, Nina searched for her "big why" and struggled to find the missing piece that would bring her the fulfillment of who she was destined to be. She felt restless and trapped, knowing she had a story inside her waiting to be told. Sometimes she wondered if it was too late for her calling as an artist, but deep down she knew that was a lie. After completing her studies in Journalism at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Montenegro, due to her love for writing and received her Master's Degree in Communication Studies at Kadir Has University in Istanbul, Turkey, she felt even more motivated to express her inner world and strong beliefs in a more personal, deeper and creative manner. This feeling intensified after a couple of years working in the civil service, which is why she decided to return to art in her late 20s and why she then enrolled in the online Mastery Program at the Milan Art Institute (Florida, USA), which was perfect for someone with a day job.
She soon realized that this program offered everything she had hoped for, and at the beginning of 2024, after two years of intensive work and dedication, she successfully completed it. During this program, she not only acquired drawing and painting skills, but also learned how to find her voice and her aesthetics and how to turn her skills into a profession. That is why she uses this opportunity to thank the Milan family, founding owners and professors at Milan Art Institute as exceptional artists and magnificent lecturers who inspire and restore faith in the beauty and excellence of the artistic calling, against the discouraging stereotype of the starving and lonely artist.
Nina may have had doubts in the past, but now she firmly believes that this profession is the most beautiful and elevating because it rests on faith, beauty, compassion and defiance of time and mortality. Now she is determined to inspire those who doubt themselves that it is never too late to become that person, who they feel, they are meant to be. Through her paintings, she strives to remind others that they are beings who not only deserve their dream lives, but also carry a deep transformative possibility of reconnecting with their inner magic that they may have forgotten or buried within themselves. Her message is to dream the biggest, boldest dreams, regardless of all obstacles and doubts, because we are all born with something that is unique, in which lies the source of our freedom and the end of our fears, and which demands to be seen and shared with those around us.
Remember - Daring colors for daring dreams!
