Made in layers, spray paint, ink, acrylic and oil paints, finalized with thick layers of oil paint applied with a palette knife, this painting celebrates the human, especially female, spiritual connection with water, that turquoise blue which seems to possess the mesmerizing powers of transformation and healing. The moon shining above in its full glory is a witness to the special moment in which the girl in the picture becomes aware of her power and invincibility in the environment in which she finally belongs and for which she constantly feels the call, longing and restlessness in every moment when she is separated from it. Here she is herself, protected, powerful, like a mermaid who was questioning which world she belongs to, she becomes aware that she has found herself and her place.
